From snowy weather for our engagement photos, an all around eventful 2020, and a very large bridal party, Abby did it all and handled it all immaculately. She captured moments we knew we wanted, and made moments that we never would have thought of. These photos are something that we look forward to sharing with our future children, and her photography style will last for generations to come. Her communication is top notch and she would always be there to answer questions whenever I had them. She even met with me MONTHS before the wedding to nail down a timeline for this Type A bride! On the day of, she made the day run so smoothly I didn't have to worry about the time or if we were on schedule - she did it all for me. She got to work right away - I would always recommend getting a little box together of everything you want a detail shot of (shoes, rings, invitations, blooms from florals, perfume, jewelry, etc.) Right when she got there, they grabbed that and went to work! Throughout the day she was incredible with making us feel at ease on such an emotional day - she made us feel valued, loved, and appreciated the entire time. Our wedding was in July of 2021 and we had an heat index of 107 and she never once complained(even though we did!!), asked for a break, or missed shots because of it - she even took us back out after it cooled (Did I mention she was 6 months pregnant during this?! Superwoman right there!). During dinner she was watching the weather and it looked like it was going to rain so she grabbed us for the sunset shoot we were wanting just in time. She is so thoughtful and caring. The album we also got from her is incredible!!! Everyone has said how wonderful the pictures are and I am so grateful I invested in Abby Jo Photography to capture the best day in the most tangible way possible. I will gladly be contacting Abby in the future for more photos!!! I definitely recommend her and her fantastic work!!
